Today we continued working on Father's Day activities. I found a really cute idea where you take a ball jar and paint the outside. You then attach a label that says "I wouldn't change my dad for anything!" Cut a slit in the lid so it is like a piggy bank. This is now where dad can put his spare change.

We also just had a little fun today and made homemade play-doh!! I found this recipe online and it was quite messy, but we had a good time anyway!

Basic ingredient ratios:
2 cups flour
2 cups warm water
1 cup salt
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
1 Tablespoon cream of tartar (optional for improved elasticity)

food coloring (liquid, powder, or unsweetened drink mix)
scented oils

**We added extra flour so it wouldn't be quite so sticky!

Finally for snack we kept it simple with strawberry banana smoothies!!
1 1/2 Cups frozen strawberries
1 Banana
1 Cup ice cream
1 Cup orange juice
Combine in a blender!
