Today is Friday, which means it is field trip day!! We journeyed to Miller Park Zoo. We had a great time, but before we left, we finished off our rainbow week with my favorite activity! Salt rainbows!!
A couple days ago, I colored plain table salt by adding a few drops of food coloring and rubbing alcohol. I let it dry and then it was ready to use today! We then layered the colors into baby food jars.
For our snack project we made Gobbledy Gook. It was super yummy! 4 C rice krispies
1 C crushed peanuts
1 C sunflower seeds
1 C crushed pretzels
1 C raisins
3 T melted butter
